Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Riches Redeemed platform operated by AJES Strategy & Design, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") at richesredeemed.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

The Service is intended for teachers, parents, and homeschool educators who are 18 years of age or older. Students access the platform under the supervision of a teacher or parent and do not create their own accounts.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all student data you enter into the platform

3. Subscription Plans and Payments

3.1 Plans

The Service offers per-student pricing: Teachers pay $99/year base plus $99 per enrolled student. Parents pay $99 per child per year or $149 per child for lifetime access. All paid plans include AI grading, PDF transcripts and report cards, and all features described on the Pricing page. Plans support both Classroom (teacher-managed) and Self-Paced (parent-managed) modes. All plans include a 90-day money-back guarantee.

3.2 Payments

Paid subscriptions are one-time annual payments processed through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. Subscriptions are valid for one year from the date of purchase. There are no automatic renewals — you must manually purchase a new subscription when your current one expires.

3.3 Refunds

If you are dissatisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 90 days of purchase by contacting us at support@richesredeemed.com. No questions asked — but we'd love to hear your feedback so we can keep improving. After 90 days, refunds are issued at our discretion. Stripe's processing fees are not refundable.

3.4 Expiration

When your subscription expires, your data is preserved — you do not lose courses, students, grades, or transcripts. You simply cannot create new courses or add new students until you renew.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to access another user's data or account
  • Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security features
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the Service
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or its content
  • Use the AI grading system for purposes unrelated to the Riches Redeemed curriculum

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

The Riches Redeemed curriculum, including all chapter content, homework assignments, answer keys, exam questions, grading rubrics, and the platform software, is the intellectual property of AJES Strategy & Design, LLC. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our curriculum content without written permission.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the platform, including student information, custom courses, and grades. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display this data as necessary to provide the Service.

5.3 Transcripts and Reports

Academic transcripts and grade reports generated by the Service are your documents. You may download, print, and distribute them freely for educational and administrative purposes.

6. AI-Assisted Grading

The Service uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to assist with grading student work. You acknowledge that:

  • AI grading is an assistive tool, not a replacement for teacher judgment
  • AI-generated scores may occasionally be inaccurate and should be reviewed
  • Teachers have full ability to override, adjust, or reject any AI-generated score
  • We are not liable for grading errors made by the AI system
  • Student submission text is sent to Anthropic for processing (see our Privacy Policy for details)

7. Google Classroom Integration

If you connect Google Classroom, you authorize us to access your Google Classroom course list, student roster, and coursework endpoints. You may disconnect at any time, which immediately revokes our access and deletes stored OAuth tokens. This integration is optional and not required to use the Service.

8. Academic Transcripts

The Service generates academic transcripts intended to support homeschool record-keeping, high school graduation requirements, and college applications. You acknowledge that:

  • Transcripts are generated based on the data you enter into the platform
  • Acceptance of transcripts is at the discretion of the receiving institution
  • We do not guarantee that any school, college, or university will accept our transcripts
  • You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of transcript content before submission
  • Credit hour recommendations are guidelines based on course duration and content

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AJES STRATEGY & DESIGN, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • You may request an export of your data before deletion
  • We will delete your account data within 30 days of a verified request
  • No refund is issued for the remaining subscription period (unless within the 60-day refund window)

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email.
